Case Applications of CNC Machined Parts

CNC Machining FAQs

CNC machining is a subtractive manufacturing process that uses computer-controlled tools to remove material from solid blocks, bars, plates, or tubes. It produces custom metal and plastic parts according to 3D CAD models and 2D technical drawings.

TENGHUI provides CNC milling, turning, 5-axis machining, EDM, drilling, and precision grinding. Our 50+ CNC machines support rapid prototypes, low-volume runs, and full-scale production.

We machine aluminum, stainless steel, carbon and alloy steel, tool steel, titanium, copper, brass, and engineering plastics such as ABS, POM, Nylon, PEEK, PP, HDPE, PC, and PMMA. Other materials are available upon request.

Please provide your 3D CAD files, 2D drawings, material specifications, quantities, surface finishes, tolerances, and inspection requirements. STEP or STP files and PDF drawings are preferred.

Yes. Our engineers review part geometry, tolerances, tool accessibility, material selection, surface finishes, and potential manufacturing risks. We may recommend practical changes to improve machinability, shorten lead times, or reduce costs.

Our standard machining tolerance is typically ±0.05 mm. Tolerances down to ±0.01 mm can be achieved for selected critical features, depending on the material, geometry, part size, and inspection requirements.

Costs can often be reduced by limiting tight tolerances to critical features, increasing internal corner radii, avoiding deep cavities, using standard holes and threads, selecting readily available materials, and simplifying non-functional features.

We support one-off prototypes, low-volume runs, and repeat production orders. For suitable parts, our 50+ CNC machines and optimized production processes can support monthly volumes exceeding 5,000 pieces.

Lead times depend on part complexity, quantity, material availability, tolerances, finishing, and inspection requirements. An estimated production schedule will be provided with each quotation after our engineering review.

Available finishes include anodizing, hardcoat anodizing, plating, passivation, powder coating, painting, bead blasting, polishing, brushing, heat treatment, and laser marking. Suitable finishes depend on the part material and application.

We perform incoming material verification, first-article inspection, in-process checks, and final inspection. Depending on the project, inspection may include gauges, micrometers, optical measuring equipment, height gauges, and CMMs.

Yes. Material certificates, dimensional inspection reports, CMM reports, and surface-treatment certificates can be provided upon request. Please specify all documentation requirements before ordering so they can be included in the quotation and production plan.
